Senior Structural Engineer

Position: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: As per contract

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in building structures design across various sectors (domestic, commercial, institutional)
• Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor junior engineers/technicians
• Proficiency in structural analysis for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
• Expertise in engineering design software
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors

Main Duties:

• Lead multiple projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
• Act as the design lead in client meetings and site visits
• Oversee technical design, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
• Represent QED Structures professionally, promoting sustainability and efficiency in design
